Designblendz transformed this Hudson River residence in Edgewater, New Jersey, into a contemporary retreat tailored to the homeowner and oriented toward panoramic views of New York City. A complete interior gut renovation reimagined the home as a cohesive, functional living environment connected to its waterfront surroundings.

Navigating New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection approvals was central to realizing the additions: a guest bedroom, sunroom, and expansive deck with a hot tub. Designblendz guided the regulatory process to integrate these spaces into the existing structure.

The rear façade was demolished and replaced with steel columns and beams, enabling 14-foot floor-to-ceiling glazing and unobstructed views of the Hudson River and New York City skyline. Sleek lines, minimalist finishes, and a neutral palette unite the interiors and exterior, creating an elegant setting that keeps the waterfront at the heart of everyday living.
