Scott Woodruff is a highly accomplished and experienced architect, currently serving as the Chief Operating officer (COO) at Designblendz Architecture. With a strong background in residential urban design, Scott Has grown the architectural team from inception.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Architecture (BARCH) degree from Jefferson University and is a registered architect in multiple states, holding an NCARB and AIA membership. Scott brings a focused and driven approach to architectural practice which was seen in his acceleration to architecture licensure at just 25 years old. Having dedicated over a decade to practicing architecture in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Scott has honed his expertise in navigating the unique challenges and opportunities inherent to the region. His passion for community engagement is evident through his extensive involvement with over 50 appearances at the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and collaborations with registered community organizations across Philadelphia.
Scott's commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions and his unwavering dedication to the craft has earned him a sterling reputation in the industry. Experience and practice areas involve multiple project types including residential, multi-family, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate office projects. With an intimate understanding of the urban context some of Scott’s highlighted works include 2157 Lehigh Ave Pump House, a 2-acre multi-family development, 3449 Scotts Lane, a 2.5-acre multi-family development, and various historical renovations in Philadelphia.
His leadership and visionary approach continue to shape the team members at Desigblendz as the COO. Integrated into all company operations, vision, architectural processes, and overall execution, Scott ensures that each project at Designblendz receives attention and raises the standard within the architectural profession.
